We pay around £80 per wedding (more in some cases) to acquire a special licence to enable us to record live music (including hymns); to use published CD music in our programmes and to make a restricted number of copies. Note that this licence is included in our standard charge.
As a reputable programme producer, we abide by prevailing copyright legislation but many wedding video companies do not.
If any one else (company or private individual) using live or recorded music in the finished programme) does not purchase this licence, they are breaking the law and are liable for prosecution.
We will try to include particular pieces / tracks that you have selected and we will also be influenced by the ambience of the day, the surroundings and the ‘pace' of the video footage.
